The NRM bachelor's degree program is provided through the School of Natural Resource Sciences (SNRS) at North Dakota State University (NDSU).

NRM students gain comprehensive knowledge about natural resources while specializing in a chosen focus area. This multidisciplinary approach equips learners to address intricate environmental challenges. The bachelor's curriculum consists of mandatory core courses for all students plus a concentration chosen from six specialized fields.

Rangeland Ecology - Concentrates on extensive research of native, non-forested environments that comprise over half the planet's land surface. These regions are maintained as natural systems to deliver valuable services to communities. This specialization trains students through diverse ecological subjects such as wildlife conservation, prairie rehabilitation, and fire-dependent ecosystem studies.
