Comprehensive pest control (IPM) offers an ecologically sound, economically viable, and socially approved approach to protecting crops. Conventionally, pests are organisms that disrupt agricultural yields. While commonly associated with insects, plant diseases, and invasive weeds, pests also encompass nematodes, non-insect arthropods, and vertebrate species. Modern applications extend pest management beyond agriculture to address issues affecting public health and living environments.

Qualification Requirements
A minimum of a 3.0 GPA at the baccalaureate (BS) or master's (MS) level is required. However, exceptions may be made for master's applicants with a very strong GPA in science classes, an exceptional track record in their final two years, or substantial post-baccalaureate work experience. Students accepted will typically have a BS or MS degree in Soil Science, or closely related fields, with strong preparation in the biological and physical sciences.
IELTS scores with an overall band score of at least 6.5. Minimum test scores for each section are listed below: Listening 6.5, Reading 6.5, Writing 6.5, Speaking 6.5
TOEFL with a total score of at least 80 on the Internet-based Test (iBT), and with minimum test scores for each section of: Listening 18 points, Reading 18 points, Writing 18 points.
Computer-based TOEFL scores must be 213 or higher (with at least 17 on three sections and no section score below 13). The paper-based test requires a score of 550 or higher (with scores of 50 on at least two of the three sections and no section score below 45).
