Earn a Master of Arts with concentrations in cultural anthropology, biological anthropology, and archaeology. Our globally engaged faculty mentor students for success in prestigious doctoral programs or rewarding careers in applied anthropology. The program offers both thesis and capstone tracks, with the thesis option being ideal for PhD-bound students and the capstone better suited for professional pathways.
Archaeology students examine ancient societies through material evidence ranging from artifacts to skeletal remains to environmental features. Our graduate archaeology curriculum emphasizes comprehensive anthropological training and cross-disciplinary approaches, supported by specialized lab facilities for artifact analysis and archaeological research.
Students can design independent research projects with faculty guidance or focus their studies in specific disciplinary specialties.

You will need to upload unofficial transcripts of all your academic course work since high school, including each institution of higher education you have attended. You will only need to send official transcripts to the Graduate School if you are admitted.
