Educators play a pivotal role in shaping individuals' social growth, personal maturity, and cognitive abilities. Their impact originates from a passion for knowledge, an ability to inspire innovative perspectives, insights into human growth patterns, and specialized expertise. Typical teaching responsibilities encompass: designing lesson plans, delivering instruction, communicating with families and school leaders, and staying current with educational advancements. The College of Education offers a specific science teaching program: The High School Science Education curriculum equips future educators to teach science for grades 9-12. Participants in this program focus on one of four concentrations: biological sciences, chemical sciences, geosciences, or physical sciences.
