The field of Animal Science encompasses a wide range of disciplines, extending beyond conventional livestock, equine, and pet care to include fundamental scientific areas like reproduction, physiology, genetics, and nutrition. This expansive domain focuses on animal biology, husbandry, welfare, and management. Professionals in animal science engage in every aspect of domestic animal operations, from research and development to business, education, and client services. The bachelor's program offers three specialized tracks: science, veterinary bioscience, and industry.
The science track caters to students pursuing advanced academic pathways, including master's and doctoral studies in specialized fields like physiology, nutrition, or genetics. This option provides greater course selection flexibility to align with students' specific academic interests.
Freshman applicants must submit an official high school transcript (academic record)
IELTS Academic: 6.5 or higher (minimum of 6.5 in each sub score)
TOEFL IBT: 85 or higher (minimum of 18 in each sub score)
PTE Academic: 62 or higher (minimum of 53 in each sub score)
English Composition I and II from an accredited U.S. College or University: Grade of C or higher
