The Psychology program is designed for individuals interested in exploring human behavior and mental processes. This comprehensive major offers students foundational knowledge of psychological concepts and their real-world implementations. Psychology seeks to address critical inquiries including: What causes mental health disorders? What coping mechanisms exist for emotional challenges? How can we design healthier social and professional environments? In what ways does personality evolve throughout life? This curriculum serves as exceptional preparation for graduate studies in psychology or immediate entry into human services professions. A bachelor's degree in psychology provides valuable skills for careers in corporate and public sectors, while also improving personal competencies like child-rearing and interpersonal communication. The curriculum additionally equips students for specialized training in administration, human resources, social services, therapy, teaching, justice systems, and related disciplines.
