NYU's redesigned Master of Arts in German Thought and Literature enables students to enhance their engagement with literary studies, critical theory, philosophy, psychoanalysis, and media studies. This program particularly suits students drawn to German intellectual traditions from diverse academic backgrounds or those developing their German language proficiency. This German Thought and Literature M.A. serves as both a fulfilling terminal degree and an ideal preparation for doctoral studies in German or related fields.
