Get ready to engage in mathematics education research across elementary, secondary, and higher education levels. You'll collaborate with faculty through every research phase, from developing proposals and refining methodologies to executing studies and sharing results. Doctoral candidates in this program will enroll in specialized courses about instructional methods while completing math coursework aligned with their research focus (elementary, secondary, or college-level). Those concentrating on secondary or advanced levels will take mathematics classes through the math department.

Upon completion, you'll be qualified for roles as a mathematics education researcher or instructor at universities, or as an educational consultant for government agencies and global enterprises.
