The public policy undergraduate program, a collaborative initiative between the College of Arts and Science and the Robert F. Wagner Graduate School of Public Service, equips students to engage in developing, executing, and assessing policies that tackle 21st-century challenges affecting local and international communities. Through this major, students gain essential conceptual, analytical, and quantitative abilities tied to policy formation while learning to ethically employ these tools when evaluating various policy approaches to diverse public concerns. Rooted in social science fundamentals, this program is ideal for students who are deeply committed to policy challenges and determined to find evidence-based, logical solutions.
Graduates of the public policy major are well-prepared for professional paths in government agencies, non-profit organizations, research institutions, and other sectors focused on policy development, execution, and analysis.
