The Wilf Family Department of Politics offers International Relations (IR) to equip students with knowledge of global history, current operational tools, and preparedness for future challenges. This program acknowledges the evolving political and economic landscape while establishing an interdisciplinary framework to comprehend these shifts. Students explore intricate transnational political networks through comprehensive, cross-disciplinary study. The curriculum's wide-ranging courses correspond to the extensive expertise and competencies demanded by the field. Combining fundamental courses in political science, economics, and statistics with specialized international relations and political economy classes, the program includes regional electives, advanced foreign language training, and mandatory overseas study. High-achieving students may join the honors track, completing a two-semester senior seminar where they develop a thesis with intensive faculty guidance.
