Develop your passion for social justice in leadership, governance, policy-making, and activism while completing two degrees faster. This combined BA/MA program equips you for roles in child and family advocacy groups, policy research institutes, various school systems, and global NGOs.

The BA in Education Studies enables students to investigate education's wider societal impact. Participants discover how education constantly influences communities while simultaneously being reshaped by them. With methodologies from policy development, activism, and social innovation, students master ways to affect educational systems across multiple environments and scales - from local to global contexts.

Liberal arts and foundational education courses provide students with comprehensive insights into education through cultural, historical, social, political, and economic lenses. Learners intensively examine diverse educational challenges using social science and humanities-based approaches, while refining critical interdisciplinary abilities including writing, communication, and various research methodologies.

Experiential learning forms a crucial program element. International study opportunities, practical internships, and culminating senior projects offer students real-world engagement with educational reform and advocacy initiatives.
