The Advanced Certificate in Public Health Disaster Science, Policy and Practice provides both online and in-person learning opportunities for qualified students seeking an interdisciplinary understanding of the academic frameworks, policies, and methodologies related to mitigating, preparing for, addressing, and rebuilding after public health crises and complex emergencies. This program mandates completion of at least five courses totaling 15 credits. Graduates will gain the ability to: 1. Cultivate leadership and managerial decision-making capabilities for public health and healthcare crisis situations. 2. Enhance communication and collaboration techniques to effectively engage communities and improve emergency preparedness systems. 3.
