Our acclaimed, innovative Interior Design B.F.A. program places you at the cutting edge of technology and creative design. You'll master advanced techniques in specifications, modeling, and 3-D visualization while cultivating your unique design approach through creative challenges and exploring modern topics like sustainability, innovative materials, and beyond.
With a strong industry orientation, the Interior Design B.F.A. provides immersive, hands-on learning through partner-sponsored competitions, workshops, and events. You'll build substantial experience in specialized studio environments while establishing professional relationships with renowned institutions like the Retail Design Institute.
You'll collaborate directly with accomplished faculty who are pioneers in architecture, interior design, furniture design, lighting design, and the arts, alongside distinguished academics who lead their respective fields.

Qualification Requirements
To be considered for admission to New York Institute of Technology, you must have satisfactorily completed high school (secondary school) with at least a B average or a 3.00 grade point average (GPA) on a 4.00 scale.
Copies of transcripts of all high school work, including college-level courses.
Mid-year and final grades will be required.
Proof of high school graduation.
Proof of English proficiency (TOEFL, IELTS, PTE, Duolingo English Test, or IB English scores).
Two letters of recommendation.
A 300 to 350 word essay describing your career goals in the major you applied for and how attending New York Tech would further those goals.
SAT/ACT scores are not required for international students.
