This MS program enhances NJIT's existing graduate offerings in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, and Telecommunications. The rapid expansion of Internet and multimedia technologies requires specialized engineering expertise in network analysis, system design, and practical implementation—skills not fully addressed by current graduate programs. The curriculum prepares engineers with deep knowledge of computer networking principles and cutting-edge applications. Core courses establish fundamental Internet Engineering concepts, while elective options allow students to customize their studies based on career goals. The program draws from graduate courses across Electrical and Computer Engineering, Computer and Information Science, Management Information Systems, and Management Programs at NJIT, combining these disciplines to build expertise in Internet Engineering. Five new graduate courses were specifically created for this program.
