The Master of Engineering (MEng) in Electrical Engineering & Computer Sciences, launched by the EECS Department during the 2011-2012 school year, represents a professional graduate degree with higher tuition costs compared to other programs, tailored for students aiming to enter the engineering field right after completing their studies. This intensive one-year program prepares future engineering leaders with expertise in technical, economic, and societal aspects of technology. The comprehensive curriculum combines three key elements: (1) specialized technical coursework, (2) leadership development classes, and (3) an in-depth capstone project.
Every MEng student in EECS must complete four (4) graduate-level technical courses within the department, participate in the Fung Institute's leadership program, and undertake a capstone project administered by the EECS department.
