The Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) program is designed for nurses who already hold a bachelor's degree. MSN education represents the ideal preparation for nursing professionals pursuing advanced clinical roles as healthcare providers and care coordinators. Participants must select and complete one specialization from those offered in the University's catalog.

National University's Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) specializations within the MSN program have received approval from the California Board of Registered Nursing (BRN).
