The Master of Science in Educational Counseling with PPS Credential equips students with the academic foundation needed for professional school counseling careers. This program trains future counselors to become thoughtful advocates for social justice, driving systemic change that fosters anti-racist, fair, and equitable results for every learner. Participants will gain the ability to provide culturally sensitive services to diverse populations while building comprehensive counseling competencies grounded in theoretical knowledge, research, and practical application.
To earn the Master of Science in Educational Counseling, candidates must successfully finish a minimum of 72 quarter units of graduate coursework. Up to 13.5 quarter units from previous graduate studies at accredited institutions may be transferred, provided they weren't applied toward another advanced degree and are relevant to this program.
