The Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies in Education offers a perfect starting point for your teaching career, whether you're transitioning from community college or starting your bachelor's degree. The program enhances your leadership abilities, communication skills, and practical expertise for varied educational settings, while also teaching you to effectively incorporate modern technological tools into teaching.
Aspiring educators will explore educational theories, research methodologies, and teaching techniques while learning to incorporate social, ethical, and multicultural perspectives into their instructional approaches. The curriculum features two specialization tracks with 17 advanced courses designed for completion within a 17-month timeframe.
To earn a Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies in Education, candidates must fulfill 180 quarter units, including 45 units completed at National University, 76.5 upper-division units, and a minimum of 70.5 general education credits.
