The Hospitality Management transfer degree equips students for mid-level or managerial trainee roles in the hospitality sector. The program provides hands-on and leadership training across key areas including: food safety protocols, culinary operations, restaurant service supervision, team leadership, budget management, financial reporting, hotel administration, and hospitality regulations.
To obtain this transfer degree, students must complete 60 transferable semester units to CSU, comprising either IGETC or CSU General Education requirements plus an 18-unit major. A minimum 2.0 GPA in all transferable courses is required, with all major courses completed at a C grade or higher. Those earning the Hospitality Management transfer degree are exempt from additional local graduation requirements.
