Students who fulfill the necessary coursework for the Paramedic Certificate and meet Mt. San Antonio College's graduation criteria will receive an Associate in Science degree in Emergency Medical Services.

The Paramedic Program holds accreditation from the Committee on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) and has been approved by the Los Angeles County Emergency Medical Services Agency. It surpasses the minimum standards outlined in Title 22 of the California Code of Regulations and the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration's national curriculum.
