The Associate in Science in Agriculture Plant Science for Transfer equips students with core competencies needed to advance to bachelor's programs in Plant Science and enter diverse professional specializations. This transfer degree facilitates smooth transition to California State University Plant Science programs.
To obtain the Associate in Science in Agriculture Plant Science for Transfer, students must complete at least 60 transferable semester units following either IGETC or CSU GE requirements, plus an 18-unit major. A minimum 2.0 GPA in all transferable courses and C grades or higher in major courses are required for the degree. This transfer pathway exempts students from additional local graduation mandates.
