The Mathematics Department at Montclair State University fosters an inclusive learning environment where students discover mathematics' significance, elegance, and practical applications. Our undergraduate and graduate curricula cultivate analytical thinking, innovative problem-solving, and the ability to examine challenges from diverse viewpoints. We actively bridge mathematics with science, arts, humanities, and business, offering students interdisciplinary exploration opportunities. Beyond academic preparation, we empower students to become engaged community members and pursue fulfilling careers in education and other fields that align with their goals and society's evolving demands.
The accelerated 4+1 Bachelor's/MBA program enables students to earn both degrees in five years. Participants complete three years of undergraduate coursework, followed by a fourth year combining remaining bachelor's requirements with 6 graduate-level MBA credits. These dual-count credits apply toward both degrees. The fifth year consists entirely of full-time MBA coursework to complete the General MBA requirements.
