The Department of Biology explores biological systems across all scales, from molecules to entire ecosystems. Our programs include Biology (with bachelor's and master's degrees), Molecular Biology (offering both undergraduate and graduate degrees), and specialized Biology tracks. Undergraduates can focus on Environmental Science or Education, while graduate students may specialize in Ecology and Evolution, Physiology, or Pedagogy. We provide accelerated courses to meet general education needs. Additionally, we contribute to interdisciplinary programs like the BS/MS in Marine Biology and Coastal Sciences, plus the PhD in Environmental Management. Through partnerships, we facilitate pathways into medical, dental, pharmaceutical, and optometry fields.
