This dual degree equips environmental science/studies students with in-depth understanding of business operations and methodologies, emphasizing ecological sustainability to develop future leaders across corporate, public, and community sectors. For complete details about the Master of Science in Sustainable Management program structure, refer to the MSSM curriculum requirements in the graduate studies section of the University Catalog. Admitted combined program participants will complete three graduate-level courses during their final undergraduate year. These 12-quarter-hour graduate courses fulfill requirements for both the bachelor's degree (as specified below) and the master's degree. Candidates must formally request degree completion to graduate with either their Environmental Studies BA or Environmental Science BS before advancing to the MSSM program. A maximum of three graduate courses (12 quarter hours) may be applied toward both degrees. Please be aware that graduate coursework typically demands higher academic standards than undergraduate studies. Students may select from these foundational MSSM courses, with alternative options possible through discussion with the MSSM program advisor.
