The BA in Theatre Studies offers comprehensive training in theatrical arts while exploring connections between stagecraft and societal contexts. The MA program advances this foundation by refining analytical abilities and performance techniques, equipping graduates for advanced academic pursuits. Both programs share fundamental coursework in dramatic literature, performance history, and interdisciplinary studies, highlighting the interplay between text and performance while emphasizing theatre's social role and global dimensions. This core curriculum creates a adaptable framework for specialized study in acting, directing, playwriting, dramaturgy, or production. By bridging theoretical knowledge with practical application, the program encourages focused exploration within theatre studies. BA/MA participants complete four graduate-level courses (12 credits) during their senior undergraduate year, making it possible to obtain a Master's degree with only one additional year of study.
