The Design, Production & Management programs equip dedicated and skilled students for careers in theater and related performing arts fields. The program cultivates students as theater practitioners, emphasizing teamwork, creativity, analytical skills, effective communication, troubleshooting abilities, verbal feedback, and professional readiness.

Students pursuing the BFA in Theatre with a Stage Management concentration at Boston University explore their identity, strengths, and potential. They evolve into cooperative theater practitioners who convey meaningful narratives to modern audiences while thriving in theater's demanding environment. Crucially, they develop their unique artistic perspective. The training combines intensive coursework, production involvement, and professional exposure. Working faculty professionals provide ongoing mentorship through studio classes, hands-on production guidance, and semester-end evaluations.
