Established in 1969, the Music Therapy program ranks among the nation's most prestigious and longstanding training initiatives. It includes hands-on clinical experience each term at regional institutions, educational centers, senior living facilities, and hospitals throughout the New York metro region. The curriculum also encompasses a Music Therapy Training Group, an introductory course on Guided Imagery and Music, and specialized instruction in piano accompaniment and clinical improvisation. Experts from the U.S. and abroad regularly visit to conduct workshops and presentations.
