The Gonzaga Music Department serves as a dynamic hub for musical performance and academic exploration, welcoming both music majors and students from other fields. Students and faculty at Gonzaga blend artistic mastery with forward-thinking approaches within a liberal arts framework, engaging in concerts, festivals, travel opportunities, cross-disciplinary projects, and scholarly work. Whether pursuing music as a major or elective, students unite their artistic dedication with a commitment to leadership and societal contribution. Through music, our artists empower communities locally and globally to motivate others, pioneer innovative approaches, and foster connections across cultures. We invite all students to join musical groups and take individual instruction, irrespective of their primary field of study.
