The Bachelor's/MAT Dual-Certification Inclusive Education Program enables students to earn both an undergraduate degree and a Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) while obtaining certification for teaching general and special education. This curriculum equips future educators with the skills to instruct students with and without disabilities.
Undergraduates fulfill general education and major requirements alongside foundational education courses. Graduate students then complete advanced education coursework, fieldwork, and student teaching experiences.
The Bachelor of Arts in Family Science and Human Development readies graduates for professional roles serving youth and families across multiple environments. Alumni find employment in diverse human service fields including community organizations, healthcare institutions, correctional facilities, court systems, care centers, and educational programs for children and parents. This degree also lays the groundwork for advanced studies in numerous disciplines.
The Families, Children and School Settings specialization trains students for educational careers, offering pathways to P-3 or K-6 teaching certification.
