All students pursuing a BA in Dance initially enroll in the Dance Studio Teaching concentration, with the opportunity to apply for the Dance Education PreK-12 Certification track during their second year. Since effective dance instruction requires strong artistic skills, you'll participate in rigorous dance classes alongside BFA Dance students and perform diverse repertoire. The BA in Dance program develops students as both performers and instructors, emphasizing the importance of practical teaching experience.
