The Master of Science in Environmental Engineering degree is granted through either the Civil Engineering or Chemical and Biological Engineering Departments, based on the student's academic background and career objectives. Applicants must fulfill both their chosen department's specific requirements (outlined below) and the Graduate School's standards. A faculty advisor and committee will collaborate with each student to develop a customized Study Plan detailing required coursework. This plan must be submitted to the Graduate School prior to completing the second semester of enrollment.
A bachelor's degree (or higher) or the equivalent from an accredited, government-recognized university. These degrees are generally four-year-long programs. B average or higher from your undergraduate study (3.0/4.0 GPA, or equivalent).
