Psychology students at Montana State thrive in a cooperative setting that fosters groundbreaking scientific exploration in psychological studies while developing psychological literacy. The program focuses on utilizing and comprehending knowledge related to human and animal behavioral and cognitive processes, mastering diverse research techniques for investigating psychological phenomena, and recognizing the advantages and constraints of each approach.
Freshmen will be considered for admission on the basis of their secondary school record and their English proficiency. Applicants who can prove their English language proficiency and have a minimum cumulative grade-point average of 2.5/4.0 on a U.S. scale will qualify for admission.
Any student who enrolls in a psychology course without having passed all prerequisite(s) with a "C" or better grade will be required to withdraw from the course.

Application Deadlines Fall Semester: July 1; Spring Semester: November 15; Summer Session: March 15.
