Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering Technology
The Mechanical Engineering Technology curriculum at Montana State educates students through practical experiences in fundamental engineering principles, manufacturing practices, mechanical design, and thermal sciences, both in laboratory settings and beyond. Graduates of the Mechanical Engineering Technology program are prepared for careers involving computer modeling, design drafting, manufacturing equipment operation, production floor inspection, troubleshooting manufacturing issues, and contributing to new product development.
Freshmen will be considered for admission on the basis of their secondary school record and their English proficiency. Applicants who can prove their English language proficiency and have a minimum cumulative grade-point average of 2.5/4.0 on a U.S. scale will qualify for admission.

Application Deadlines Fall Semester: July 1; Spring Semester: November 15; Summer Session: March 15.
