Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering
Mechanical engineers have diverse career paths, ranging from developing advanced spacecraft and vehicles to creating sustainable energy solutions. At Montana State University, the Mechanical Engineering program emphasizes practical learning. Students gain hands-on training in computer-aided design, modern manufacturing techniques, and machining labs, culminating in senior capstone projects that tackle actual engineering challenges.
Freshmen will be considered for admission on the basis of their secondary school record and their English proficiency. Applicants who can prove their English language proficiency and have a minimum cumulative grade-point average of 2.5/4.0 on a U.S. scale will qualify for admission.
