Montana State's Mathematics program begins with a foundational curriculum in mathematical analysis, then progresses to advanced topics like abstract and linear algebra. These courses equip students with skills applicable to analyst or computational specialist roles. The program's adaptable structure supports career paths across diverse sectors including business, government, and scientific computing.
Freshmen will be considered for admission on the basis of their secondary school record and their English proficiency. Applicants who can prove their English language proficiency and have a minimum cumulative grade-point average of 2.5/4.0 on a U.S. scale will qualify for admission.
