Montana State's Soil & Water Science program equips students with a strong grounding in biological, chemical, and physical sciences, focusing on their impact on Earth's vital resources: soil and water. Participants receive specialized education in soil science and hydrology, preparing them for careers in land and watershed management, pollution control, remediation, and ecological restoration. The Environmental Sciences major provides four specialized tracks: Environmental Sciences, Environmental Biology, Geospatial & Environmental Analysis, and Land Rehabilitation.
