Montana State's Equine Science program within the Animal Science department provides students with a comprehensive education blending scientific theory with hands-on equestrian skills. The curriculum covers essential industry knowledge including business operations, young horse training techniques, equine psychology, pasture management for small farms, and developmental biology. Beyond classroom instruction, participants benefit from practical training opportunities, internship placements, and access to top-tier facilities including the program's renowned Farrier School.
