Today's job market sees information technology among the most rapidly expanding sectors. Gallatin College MSU's IT Cyber Security Information Assurance program equips students to address business cybersecurity requirements. Graduates will gain skills to detect cyber threats, establish and manage security protocols, address security breaches, and develop innovative approaches to new vulnerabilities. Along with an associate degree, the program readies students for certifications including CompTIA (Network, Linux, Security), EC-Council's Certified Ethical Hacker, and Cisco Certified Network Associate.
IT professionals who've finished IT Network Technology coursework can also pursue a Certificate of Technical Skills (CTS) in IT Cyber Security.
Freshmen will be considered for admission on the basis of their secondary school record and their English proficiency. Applicants who can prove their English language proficiency and have a minimum cumulative grade-point average of 2.5/4.0 on a U.S. scale will qualify for admission.
