The business systems and processes (BSAP) major provides a strong technical background in applied information systems while emphasizing the business knowledge and analytical skills necessary to successfully analyze big data to make informed decisions that impact performance.

The BSAP major focuses on empowering students with hands-on experience in ERP designs, configurations, and applications to help IT organizations and end users and improve operational efficiency, effectiveness, and security. Specifically, students in this major will be able to define and explain ERP concepts, processes, and values in an organizational environment, utilize an ERP system to manage a variety of business functions and an organization, generate business intelligence using ERP to support decision making, and help organizations drive operational and process effectiveness and efficiency. Courses include hands-on training in SAP, SAP Lumira, and Salesforce. In addition, students gain insight into process automation and learn tools like UiPath.
