Advance your professional expertise by deepening your subject knowledge and enhancing communication abilities. Missouri S&T's nuclear engineering graduate program supports your career aspirations. Participate in constructive evaluation of both your research and peers' work throughout your studies. As a nuclear engineering professional, you'll advance and implement technologies harnessing energy from nuclear reactions and radioactive materials.

U.S. nuclear facilities generate approximately one-fifth of the country's electrical supply. This technology accounts for nearly 60% of America's emission-free electricity, dramatically lowering greenhouse gas emissions while fostering environmental sustainability. The same nuclear applications power the U.S. Navy's submarine and carrier fleets. Additionally, radioactive isotopes play vital roles in medical diagnostics and treatments.
