The Computational Engineering graduate program is an interdisciplinary initiative, featuring faculty from the College of Engineering, College of Arts and Sciences, and research staff from HPC2. Students can pursue Master of Science and Doctor of Philosophy degrees, available both on the Starkville Campus and via Distance Education. Industry, academia, and government sectors increasingly seek professionals skilled in developing computational analysis tools and applying them to intricate engineering challenges. The curriculum spans diverse subjects, cultivating scientists and engineers with versatile expertise and perspectives. Graduates gain proficiency in analytical problem-solving techniques and the mathematical/computational methods needed for solutions. Applicants with bachelor's degrees in engineering, computer science, mathematics, or physical sciences are eligible. Research assistantships are offered through HPC2 projects.
