The Department of Kinesiology provides five Bachelor of Science degree options: Clinical Exercise Physiology, Neuromechanics, Performance Fitness, Physical Education and Coaching, and Sport Administration.
Located in the College of Education at Mississippi State University, the Department of Kinesiology offers outstanding academic programs for both graduate and undergraduate students. Undergraduates can select from six specialized tracks: Clinical Exercise Physiology, Neuromechanics, Strength and Conditioning, Sport Administration, Physical Education and Coaching, and Physical Activity and Coaching. Master's students have options in Sport Administration, Sport Pedagogy, Disability Studies, or Exercise Physiology (with clinical or strength and conditioning focuses). Doctoral candidates can pursue Exercise Science or Sport Studies (encompassing physical education, sport philosophy, sport communication, and sport administration/marketing).
