The demand for effective stewardship of natural and environmental resources has never been higher, and the Environmental Economics and Sustainability program equips students to meet this pressing need.
The curriculum develops essential competencies through three core components. First, environmental science provides foundational knowledge in biology, chemistry, and ecological systems. Second, policy studies examine governmental frameworks, legal structures, and their environmental implications. Third, economic principles are explored, including specialized coursework in natural resource economics. Alumni emerge ready to make meaningful contributions in their field or pursue advanced studies in graduate or legal education.
