Electronic Engineering Technology (EET) is a technical discipline that applies scientific and engineering principles along with practical skills to support engineering work. An electronic engineering technologist possesses expertise in electronics theory and design, with proficiency in current practices for digital and analog circuits and systems. Career opportunities for engineering technologists span numerous areas, including computers, controls/automation, robotics, instrumentation, and communications.
The program aims to equip students with strong skills for entering the technical workforce. Specifically, the department works to ensure graduates can:
