Midwestern State University pioneered the first graduate degree program in a specialized field within the United States. Currently, the MSRS program continues to lead in imaging and radiologic sciences education, providing three specialization tracks: Administration, Education, and Radiologist Assistant (RA). This hybrid-format program enables working professionals to earn their degree in two years with limited campus visits. While most coursework is online, Administration and Education students must attend six on-campus sessions, while RA students complete ten. RA candidates also fulfill extensive clinical training requirements.
The MSRS program at Midwestern State University attracts imaging and radiologic sciences professionals nationwide and globally, fostering knowledge-sharing among peers with diverse backgrounds. The experienced MSRS faculty, with decades of collective field expertise, remain engaged in professional advancements. The Master of Science in Radiologic Science (MSRS) program aims to excel as the top graduate radiologic science provider locally, nationally, and internationally by fostering growth in education, research, leadership, and clinical application.
