Select from three specialized paths to expand your expertise and enhance your credentials: climate studies, environmental governance, or geospatial analysis. Build a strong foundation in biological and physical sciences while concentrating on particular ecological subjects and problems. Experience hands-on learning during a 14-week field program in our expansive 4,609-acre research woodland (among the largest connected forested regions in the eastern U.S., conveniently located nearby). Collaborate with professors through the 1,100 Earn and Learn program, available to all College of Forest Resources and Environmental Science (CFRES) students. Additionally, connect personally with your CFRES community through frequent coffee gatherings and forestry expeditions.
