Undergraduate students meeting eligibility criteria can opt for a dual-degree program that pairs a Bachelor of Science in sustainability studies with a Master of Arts in sustainability. This combined program necessitates completing 145 semester hours in total, with a minimum of 115 s.h. at the undergraduate level and 30 s.h. at the graduate level. The entire program can be finished within five years, which includes participation in at least one summer term. Those accepted into the MA component may count graduate courses SBLY 201, SBLY 206, and GEOL 251 toward both degree requirements. These 9 s.h. will be added to the undergraduate degree's mandatory 115 s.h., resulting in 124 s.h. for the BS.
Prospective majors should consult with the department chair to design their academic plan before course registration.
