The Master in Urban and Regional Planning (MURP) graduate program is designed to equip students for professional planning careers across both private and public sectors, fostering both broad planning knowledge and specialized practical skills. Students gain in-depth insight into environmental, economic, and societal planning challenges through scientific, social scientific, and humanistic lenses. Faculty expertise spans diverse planning disciplines such as urban design, land use policy, housing, community development, natural resource management, research methodologies, transportation, technology integration, environmental strategies, and public policy.
