The graduate programs in integrative biology prepare students for careers in biological science education, research, or applying biological expertise across public and private sectors. These programs aim to develop future scientists capable of addressing critical challenges, such as how living systems adapt to environmental shifts. Through coursework and seminars, students gain comprehensive understanding while developing skills for innovative research across integrative biology's specialized fields. Our faculty investigate diverse biological systems, focusing on synthesizing knowledge across all levels - from molecular to ecosystem scales. Research specialties encompass genetics, cell/developmental biology, systematics, paleontology, comparative anatomy, physiology, animal behavior, ecology, and evolutionary biology.
