Studio art students investigate and produce works through the visual vocabulary of two- and three-dimensional forms, spatial relationships, and temporal elements across diverse mediums such as ceramics, digital arts, graphic design, painting, photography, printmaking, and sculpture. Undergraduate students can choose between two studio art degree paths. The bachelor of arts in studio art offers a broad liberal arts education, while the bachelor of fine arts provides professional training for those pursuing art careers, design fields, or advanced graduate studies.
Photography students develop projects employing diverse creative approaches within the medium. The curriculum spans traditional darkroom processes to contemporary digital methods, merging technical skills with artistic vision to cultivate distinctive personal styles. The program emphasizes nurturing each student's individual creative voice, aiming to help them discover fresh perspectives and produce photographic works that reflect their unique artistic identity.
